Chisoxfn
MP3 Version of August 29th's Show Link to the Live Feed (CURRENTLY OFF AIR) Thats right....the South Side Baseball Report will be airing live for the very first time ever tonight @ 7:30, so put the game on mute and listen to us discuss the Sox while you watch the game (no our broadcast will not be in any way shape or form involve any game recap or play by play...it just so happens the time that works happens to be during tonights game). Starting next week we will try and have a set time for a weekly "LIVE" show which will also allow us to take calls, email, and messages from you all. Tonight we will not have the phone capabilities up yet, but we will be taking emails (send them to [email protected]) as well as messages (AIM = DAGAGEDABOMB) so hopefully some of you can catch part of our live rant (and hopefully there won't be too many live follies). The link for the show will be posted around 7:30 Central time.

Gregory Pratt
If Harris played for the White Sox this year, he wouldn't have done half as well as he did this year.
fathom
QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Aug 30, 2007 -> 12:56 AM) If Harris played for the White Sox this year, he wouldn't have done half as well as he did this year. Holy cow.....please explain this.
Gregory Pratt
Just another guy who is helped greatly from Braves coaching. You really think he's this good? Or that he'd be put into a good platoon situation to be given this opportunity? It's a huge mixture of luck and coaching. The coaching will run out and his limited abilities will take over next year. Mr. Showtime
I missed this. There better be an mp3 up.
Gregory Pratt
People actually think Harris would have this good a season if he weren't in as good an organization in the Braves? In a place like Minnesota? In a place that stresses fundamentals and is known for excellent coaching and analysis? In, perhaps, Oakland, even if it isn't necessarily known for speedsters? Guess I'm crazy.

beautox
Harris is good this year because of two things. 1.) he is no longer trying to pull the ball and hit for power but instead spray the ball to all fields, both sox organizations preached pull to him, there was an article earlier this year with harris saying as much and 2.) Terry Pendleton is a stud.
