Steve9347
Wow, would you say he's in trouble, or is this just a sign of too much work, too early, he'll be alright? 28 starts, 174.1 IP, 145 K's, 23 HR, 5.01 ERA I would have never guessed such a poor season this year. witesoxfan
I had him pegged for a breakthrough year. If you are a Tiger fan or baseball fan, all you can do is hope and pray it's not his shoulder. As a Sox fan, I feel bad, but f*** the Tigers. southsider2k5
Or maybe a hangover from pitching deep into the offseason last year? Hmm...
santo=dorf
Maybe he's just really overrated?
29andPoplar
Or maybe a hangover from pitching deep into the offseason last year? Hmm... I would say yes. To me it looked like many of the Tiger players were out of gas. Certainly both the Yankees (wild card) and Cleveland (division) have played well but Detroit didn't look like a juggernaut team at all. 3E8
He only has two pitches, and neither of them is offspeed. I know he was working on developing the change-up, but I don't think that materialized as planned.
