HuskyCaucasian
Maybe my memory is a bit foggy, but i dont remember a massize rally held in downtown chicago when the Sox won the division on '05. Am I wrong?
Brian
Nope, and we won it all, so doesn't bother me. Is it ironic it may "rain on their parade" literally today? Edited October 1, 2007 by Brian
southsideirish71
Actually MLB had these city pep rallies in 05 as well. We had the same thing.
retro1983hat
It was an MLB thing. Seemed kind of dumb. Please, let's not talk about the amount of coverage the Cubs get if they advance. Once the Sox made it to the ALCS, we received plenty of coverage as well as the really dumb news stories. You know the ones where they go to some bakery where they make Cub cupcakes and interview some 175 year old guy who was at the first game at Wrigley.
