southsideirish71
Hammels is s***ting the bed, he just walked in a run. Rox up 3-0 and he is 51 pitches so far with 1 2/3's innings pitched.

southsideirish71
QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 3, 2007 -> 02:38 PM) Rocks are too hot. Pressure getting to Hammels? Well Francis has K'd 4 Phillies to start off the game. Hammels is throwing pitches in the dirt. The pucker factor seems to be affecting them. Gregory Pratt
What a cheap ass ballpark Citizens Bank is. But I guess it's appropriate that these two teams face each other for a variety of reasons. Hold 'em where they are, Rox!
WilliamTell
I wish these teams weren't playing each other, I really like them both and will root for whoever wins this matchup for the NLCS.

As in "The Rockies scored really early and took control of that momentum thing." Oh Frank is right.

Its funny that you complain about the park, when we play in US Cellular which is just as easy to jack the ball out of.

You act like I've never said anything about our ballpark. I like our ballpark okay, as far as aesthetics and appeal (and besides, it's a baseball ballpark, which is good enough for me) but it's nowhere near my list of top ballparks I've been to. I think I actually enjoy most minor league ballparks better, though not the teams. And Wrigley, not to mention.

I actually prefer many of the minor league parks as well, but I really like some of the newer parks that were designed with older ball parks in mind, like Petco, PNC, and I love Camden. RockRaines
Here is a great website for people who love looking at all the ballparks in baseball. I personally have been to a great deal of these and plan to finish the tour in a few years. http://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/Current%20Ballparks.htm

Weeds on the walls, the field plays uphill, the 1970s CRT TVs that are not quite black/white not quite color.

Gregory Pratt
We've been through this "Wrigley sucks" nonsense before. I think you guys who hate Wrigley Field have got penis envy. "Oh, my Cubs neighbor will make fun of me." "Oh, the media will care more about the Cubs than the Sox." "Oh, our ballpark is newer -- and it's made of advertisings, not steel, so it's unique!" "Oh, our ballpark is newer -- and it's made of advertisings, not steel, so it's unique!" I honestly think the park is a piece of crap. I tried to like it the few times I've been there but I don't get it. If the place had 10K fans in it all the time instead of a full house you most likely wouldn't worship it the way you do.
