fathom
Just want to know why wasn't Drew bunting in order to get Young over? Getting Webb a lead this game is a must.
CWSGuy406
QUOTE(fathom @ Oct 4, 2007 -> 02:14 AM) Is that sarcasm about the Dbacks? No sarcasm at all. Eric Byrnes is hitting third -- that says a lot. Zambrano is going to the mouth (and to the crotch, and to the forehead, among other things) after every pitch. I thought that was illegal unless the temperatures were frigid?
Greg The Bull Luzinski
I can't believe Tony Clark is still playing. Is he Julio Franco's age?

fathom
Terrible at-bats after the leadoff single. I really don't think Clark is a good match-up against Zambrano, as he's overmatched against good fastballs. I don't care if they have no power....#3 and 4 hitters should be hacking on 3-0 with a RISP.

Buehrle>Wood
QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 4, 2007 -> 03:23 AM) Just seems like he has been passed around like a joint and I can't remember any of those years being good since he left Detroit. He randomly hit 30 or so hrs for the d-backs not to long ago. But other than that, yeah, I think he's been terrible.

These days, I'm not so sure of it with all the crackdowns. Up until a year ago or so, of course they were. I would guess the percentage of guys on steroids/HGH is around 65 pct. whitesoxfan101
Theriot is such a terrible player, it amazes me he was able to scam his way into hitting so well the first few months. Anyways, Webb has his sinker going which means the Cubs won't be hitting home runs which means the Cubs won't be scoring runs. Get a couple on the board, D'Backs!!
