Palehosefan
http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/trackandfiel...tory?id=3049333 I really hope she goes to jail for a nice term for commiting perjury. What a piece of @#$!.
Steve9347
it's funny that she denied it for so long with so much evidence stacked against her. i don't really believe any athletes when they deny reports like this... but yes, she should go to prison, but she won't. Palehosefan
but yes, she should go to prison, but she won't. That's exactly what's going to keep athletes lying about it, nothing to lose, so so much $ to gain.
SoxFan562004
i don't think I'm going out on a limb by saying we're going to see a lot of similar stories in the next year or so. I think the next big one might be a guy who dominated a notoriously dirty sport and the media for the most part has given him a free pass. SoxFan562004
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Oct 5, 2007 -> 08:53 AM) Would that sport be cycling? maybe! I just find it odd that someone can absolutely and utterly own a sport that is usually on the cutting edge of PED and be 100% clean
WilliamTell
Young girls were supposed to look up to her to believe in yourself and you can achieve whatever you want. But I guess you have to cheat to get whatever you want. Maybe young girls should go back to the gold digger role.
DrunkBomber
QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Oct 5, 2007 -> 10:41 AM) maybe! I just find it odd that someone can absolutely and utterly own a sport that is usually on the cutting edge of PED and be 100% clean Well considering how quickly they busted Landis and how bad the French wanted to bust a certain athlete that if they had even the smallest shred of evidence it would have been everywhere by now. redandwhite
Don't you dare think that she was the only one taking steroids. Track & Field is the dirtiest sport of any, Jones just happened to get caught. It was stupid of her to lie and she should be punished accordingly for that, but locking her up is nonsense. She is of no threat to society.
Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 7, 2007 -> 02:54 PM) Don't you dare think that she was the only one taking steroids. She is of no threat to society. We live in a world that's far too fast to throw people into prison for things they probably shouldn't be in prison for and we let people out of prison far too soon or keep them out to begin with for things that they should be in prison for for a long, long time.
