Cerbaho-WG
This six hours sleep stuff is a complete joke. Anyways, Baseball America has reported that the prospects that the Rangers will receive won't be as a great as made out to be. BA says to expect the same caliber of players that the Mets received for Alomar.

I'd like to see Majewski (This is a name I hadn't thought of), Diaz and then a position guy. I'd be able to live with that. Sox are going to be busy with promotions and stuff after the trades are finalized.

Isn't he the guy that signed Chan Ho Park, overpaid for ARod, has no major league starters to speak of(OK, maybe Valdez) and keeps allowing Scott Boras to dictate their draft choices? Maybe these actions are coming from higher up, but then he's a fool regardless. Just mho

Yes, there is defintely something to be said for a job where you can essentially just show up and collect a check evry two weeks! I think Hart drafted well in The Land That Set The River On Fire, but I don't think most of his moves turned out well. What did he get for Burnitz? Sexson? Casey? Giles? I can't think of one player of consequence he got for any of these guys. It also seemed like Cleveland was always a pitcher short of going all the way, and that never seemed to get addressed though. Wasn't their rotation in the 97 series Wright, Colon, Hershiser, Nagy and Ogea? I would say though that signing Alomar and Fryman, and not signing Belle seemed to be the right decisions. Refresh my memory, weren't the Tribe in 2 WS and win the division 6 out 7 yrs?
