winninguglyin83
like to see Ozzie recruit Carlton Fisk. could use his grit in the clubhouse and his brains in the dugout. Put Cora back at third. But I doubt Pudge would do it. Not in favor of Ventura. Too low key. So I guess it is going to be this Jeff Cox guy that Ozzie knew in Florida. southsider2k5
I'd love to see Pudge as a bench coach, but he seems to have no interest in coming back into baseball.
The Beast
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 09:07 AM) I'd love to see Pudge as a bench coach, but he seems to have no interest in coming back into baseball. Not only does he not have any interest of coming back into baseball, I'm sure he wouldn't want to come back here after how we treated him when we released him. Balta1701
QUOTE(Beastly @ Oct 8, 2007 -> 03:21 PM) Not only does he not have any interest of coming back into baseball, I'm sure he wouldn't want to come back here after how we treated him when we released him. I believe the way that his statue was handled was viewed at least in part as a burying of the hatchet.
