southsider2k5
We got Jack. Their sourdough burger with bacon is great. I don't like their tacos as much as the ones from a local chain here. I have found the Mexican equivement to sliders. Tacos nortenos. very greasy corn tortillas with chopped steak (bistek), onions, and cilantro. Two maybe three bites, grease, beef, cheap 6 for $3. All that's missing is the pickle. We also have like a thousand chinese restaurants, one place for gyros (aka greek tacos), fair pizza at one place, Pizza Hut is the decent option, and every chain in the world has found this place. They open up Money magazine see how fast we are growing and boom we have a Fridays, Bennigans, Applebys, Olive Garden, etc. im headed to krispy kreams now... a trade of food is in order here......where do i send it too????? I am flying to Dallas tommorrow morning

Hey Tex, I work in the food industry, and we ship things across the country all the time using the very things you mentioned. Dry ice and a styrofoam cooler work great, we've even done it with ice cream.

rafacosta
Which of our 'Tub o' Goo' s 6 wins do you figure gave us all our success? Or did you mean his 7 losses that contribute to our sub .500 so far? Colon won 20 games for someone else, not the Sox. He's advertised as a 'workhorse', innings eater, and got 'tired' after 97 pitches the first time against the cUBS and was lousy with 98 pitches the second. He needs to step up before he deserves the accolades so many bestow on him. Let me see. If he struggles in his next start you no doubt it will boo him, hun??? This team dont need fans like this. They need some cheers. Our management is doing their job and they are trying to bring a championship to the fans. Give them a break.

Grebeck Fan Club
Dump Colon and we have no chance of being competitive in the playoffs. His numbers have been disappointing. Of that I agree with negative ncorgbl. He can go nine innings. He won't go nine innings every game. How many pitchers have more complete games than Colon? A workhorse starter is not the kind of guy you trade.
Grebeck Fan Club
We should trade Colon straight up for Cory Lidle. After all, Lidle is 10-6, which means he's better.

That's ridiculous. Yes, I think Colon is a problem, maybe not yet a cancer, but absolutely a problem. No, I said just what I said, Colon is 6-7 and has not helped the Sox as advertised. Complete games are nice, but 'W's are the reason we got him, and he's not delivered. If a player is healthy, and wants the big contract, and struts his stuff about being an inning eater, gets stronger as the game goes on, is called the Ace, do you think he performs like goo-boy does? Getting 'tired' after 97 pitches? Steps up when his teammates do? Colon is not my kind of player. Trade him now.
