max power
QUOTE(SoxAce @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 06:22 PM) Ahem... 2nd biggest. I dunno, do they pee in troths at fenway? If they do, I say fenway wins. It doesn't even look like a f***ing baseball field.

Flash Tizzle
Remember when the Red Sox gave us a "run for our money" in 2005? Oh, wait, we swept them. McCarver's an idiot.

No, I think it's charming and beautiful on its own merits, not just on history, but I'd actually prefer it if this thread doesn't become a "Yanquis Stadiums sux, Fenways sux, Wrigley sux!" thread. Gregory Pratt
QUOTE(max power @ Oct 12, 2007 -> 06:38 PM) I politely asked one question, don't get your panties in a wad about what your thread becomes. Did you politely puke? And then politely say "don't get your panties in a wad"? Don't act all pissy -- I didn't say anything offensive to you, so calm down. I think all the people who hate Fenway, Yankee Stadium and Wrigley Field wish they had a ballpark that was host to a tenth as much history as those ballparks, or which was loved by a hundredth the amount of people. Same with the people who mock the Sweet Caroline tradition at Fenway, or Take Me Out to the Ballgame -- hell, to a certain extent I think the same can be said for those who dislike Steam's Goodbye at Sox Park, or the great advertisements that cover the entire stadium. "Misshapen piece of crap." Give me a break. Edited October 12, 2007 by Gregory Pratt

Well, then I apologize to McCarver. I'm browsing the interweb and watching TV. Although if you ever point out anything wrong with one of my posts again I will subject you to a full beat down. Remember, I'm bigger than you. Edited October 12, 2007 by Flash Tizzle

And I'm pissy? hahaha I respect your opinion on it and I completely disagree. I think its a misshapen, outdated piece of s*** that should be replaced. For the record I prefer the new stadium to comisky as well, though I cherish some of the memories I had there. max power
Bleh, I hope I'm not reduced, yet again, to rooting for the rockies to win it all. That just might happen if things stay on this path.
Kyyle23
This is bad for the Indians to start the series off having to dig deep into their bullpen. Man, this is a pathetic effort on Clevelands part, I thought they were gonna put some runs up off Beckett tonite.
