BigSqwert
Yay. Tad Iguchi and Aaron Rowand. Maybe we can bring Politte and Timo back while we're at it. Perhaps even Crazy Carl.
Wanne
What a cookie-cutter analysis. Dated 11-12...and he only lists the Sox with Eck. Way to do your homework numbnuts.
southsider2k5
Wow, that wasn't much of an attempt. The Sox aren't interested in Eckstein anymore, and the whole world knows they are going after Hunter. The thing that is really missing is relief pitchers. The Sox are going to go after at least one guy, if not more.
hotlanta13
What about Luis Castillo? As a Twin I hated him. He never strikes out, puts the ball in play, and posted some decent stats with the Mets last year. His defense is solid and still has a little giddyup in his legs. He might even be one of Ozzie's boys. I realize he's old but how about a 2-year deal for 7 million? This would solve our leadoff problem and could instead use Jerry Owens in the Utility/Pinch Runner position instead of a .220 BA left fielder. Kalapse
Castillo is looking for a 4 year deal and many believe he will get it. The Astros have made him their top priority and the Mets are still looking re-sign him. A 4 or even 3 year deal for Luis Castillo is a terrible idea IMO. PAUL KONERKO 14
Castillo=Not the answer to our problems. I would rather not have him on our team.
rockren
QUOTE(PAUL KONERKO 14 @ Nov 14, 2007 -> 05:08 PM) Castillo=Not the answer to our problems. I would rather not have him on our team. Considering he looked to have a tough time walking back to the dugout the past few years.....yeah.
