Whitewashed in '05
Thanks for everything Jon! I wish you well in Anaheim except versus us. You were always one of my favorites. Special thanks for 05!
BearSox
I wish we could be saying good bye to Kenny Williams right now instead, but whatever. Thanks for the memories Jon.

SoxAce
QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 19, 2007 -> 03:10 PM) As alluded to, the soul patch will be missed. Eh... I won't be too disappointed considering we got Danks now and he rocks his out pretty nicely.
WCSox
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Nov 19, 2007 -> 10:46 AM) Thanks for all the solid, and a few excellent, years on the South Side. And a special thanks for that little trophy that we couldn't have gotten without you. +1 Thanks for the memories and good luck in SoCal. winninguglyin83
We need a GM who can make more Matt Karchner for Jon Garland trades. Always liked Garland because he always answered the bell. Can't remember him missing a start. That's what we are going to miss -- durable workhorse. And he's good pals with Buehrle. Wonder what HIS reaction is? rockren
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 19, 2007 -> 12:54 PM) What was it, game 4 against the Angels? On 10 days rest, sinker not working at all, and he comes back and throws a complete game with nothing but his fastball? That was Game 3, when the series was 1-1. Some guys have overwhelming stuff and some guys just know how to pitch. Garland certainly knew how to pitch, but more importantly, he knew how to win. It was a pleasure, Jon Garland. Jeremy
I'll miss Jon. He was my favorite player for quite a few years and his major league debut is one of the most exciting moments I can remember as a fan. I wish him nothing but luck in all of his future endeavors. rockren
It should be noted that OC was the only Angel to touch Garland in that Game 3 game with a 2-run bomb. Just throwing that out there. Edited November 19, 2007 by rockren
