Pods??

Remember back in the day when the White Sox didn't go on the field to show they weren't happy with the slack drug testing policy. I think that was in the Big Frank / Jerry Manuel era. I believe Frank was at the forefront because he is so naturally strong and he knew all the guys putting up similar stats to him at that time were juicing.

What about the Hammer Dan Pasqua...we know he was smoking the rock!

I am very surprised to see Johnny Damon, Paul Byrd, and Nomar Garciaparra on that list. I am not surprised to see Mark Prior on the list, as well as Albert Pujols and Miguel Tejada.

Speaking of which, if Frank Thomas comes up, I will be surprised. The guy played football at Auburn!

Daryl Kyle?

wow, it that's right then that explains a lot.

That's got to be hard for that family to swallow. The man just dictated his fate by using the steroids. I'm sure his wife feels terrible none the less but if she knew, just imagine how the woman would feel.

We knew about Paul Byrd he admitted using but was prescribed.

Nomar was def. using after his wrist injury he just never could get back to the same level. Interesting that Derrek Lee had the same injury and his power #'s were obviously way down last year, granted he still put up sick #'s.

QUOTE(chiguy79 @ Dec 13, 2007 -> 09:55 AM)
what amazes me is that MLB gets stuck with the rap. Does anyone believe that 90% of NFL players aren't on HGH..or does no one care?

Until they all start dropping dead or there's a test that actually works for HGH, no one seems to care. I think part of that is that it's more accepted in football, and part of it is that the records in baseball, in particular the ones that tetrahydrogestrinone, andro, and Sosa smashed are vastly more hallowed than any record in the NFL I can think of aside from the undefeated season number.
