bigruss
QUOTE (Texsox @ Jun 1, 2008 -> 11:59 AM) No American Legion league around? No fast pitch league? Well im not sure if im trying to walk on at Illinois, I have no idea how hard it is to walk on. My coach has said I have DI talent, and I led my team offensively this year, and hit over .450 in a pretty good conference. But its Michigan baseball so I know the high school talent level isnt that good, so I have no idea what to expect. Im moving this summer to the Chicago area, no idea where yet, and with going to college Im not sure what teams will be available to me.

I have a few friends who are walk-on D1 athletes and while it may not be glamorous, they all are really happy with their decisions.

Luckily I didnt say anything that was too vulgar so it just made for an awkward moment, she got the paperwork she needed from me and walked away.My face turned extremely red so that was the dead give away that I was talking about her.I felt like a pervert because I was explaining her with such excitement. Shipps turns slowly and says "I was just getting to the part where she approaches the desk and I ask her out, so would you like to catch a movie as soon as they remove that 6" spike from your lower GI, the puss stops draining from your ear, and the infection clears up? It must suck trying to pick up girls at an ER.

Its funny cause we kind of have a rule, the patient is off limits and no longer attractive if they come from the pink room(crazy person room),room 8,9,and 16(the vaginal problem rooms). She was the grandaughter of a patient so she was totally fair game. FlaSoxxJim
You know those nights where you're absolutely craving breakfast food for dinner? Lastnight was one of those nights, and I tried my hand at cooking something called the Greek Hobo that I saw on that Diners and Dives Food Network show a few weeks back. Grilled, hand-grated hash browned potatoes topped with grilled mushrooms and onions, gyro meat and eggs, and the whole thing topped with melted feta. Wow. I have a new all-time favorite breakfast meal. Opah!! :headbang Edited June 11, 2008 by FlaSoxxJim
ChiSox_Sonix
So i just got back from a cruise a couple days ago and i got to try a lot of things i hadnt had before (Mahi mahi, lamb, king crab legs etc...). Anyways, i'm not much of a fan of scotch, but i ordered a JW Blue Label on the rocks during the last night cuz it was cheaper than i'd ever see it in the US and let me just say, it was awesome. Absoutley no bite to it at all. So smooth. I dont know how many people have had it or not, but if you havent i'd recommend trying it sometime.
