The Critic
On my drive home from work just now, a car pulls alongside me and keeps pace, which of course makes me look over. 3 young whippersnappers are wearing Groucho Marx glasses and waving their arms around like idiots. Maybe I'm overtired but it made me laugh. I gave them the golf clap and they happily drove away. I hope the driver wasn't as intoxicated as the passengers seemed to be. juddling
I'm sure the flaming will start after this but over the weekend i finally broke out of my Sam Adams routine and with a friends urging I ordered a Guinness. I was very disappointed. considering how many times i heard people rave about it...maybe i expected too much. I really wish i had my money back. BigSqwert
You can't compare Guiness to lagers, pilsners, and ales. It's a stout and won't taste like any "regular" beer. Definitely an acquired taste.
BigSqwert
Oh, and next time try ordering a black and tan. Half Guinness, half Bass Ale.

shipps
With all this alcohol talk...Do you guys ever watch "Three Sheets" on the Mojo channel?I love that show,Zane Lampley(the host) is really funny and its real informative about the drinking customs all around the world. They are detailed in the history, the science, and the way your supposed to drink the alcohol. Not to mention the awesome scenery to see with the HD. Buehrle>Wood
Weird, I had had never heard of Mojo, but I just stumbled upon it today. I noticed Carlos Quentin's good looking mug on TV, so I stopped. It was an apparently older show following 6 D-Back's paths to the pros. One of the others was Chris Young. Anyways, apparently it's a series, 30 minutes each. I might have to check out the other episodes.

If you have a DVR, just set to record all of em, as it's usually pretty random the order they play them in and when they repeat.

LosMediasBlancas
The more Gatorade I drink, the thirstier I get. The thirst quencher? I think not....but it is good stuff.
SoxAce
QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Aug 6, 2008 -> 12:57 AM) I can't drink it anymore. I live off Lemonade Vitamin Water, and after picking up a Gatorade, it's way too sweet for me. Ever try the G2 Tony?
knightni
I like G2. Apparently so do a lot of people. It's always out at Walmart. Of course, a 32 oz. bottle is 75 cents this week.
witesoxfan
I get Gatorade just because it's cheaper than most...Powerade doesn't do much for me but Gatorade is OK. I'd get Vitamin Water but it just seems so expensive, like $1 for a 16 or 20 ounce bottle (or whatever it is). Has it become cheaper as they've begun to mass produce it or not? If so, I'll check it out the next time I'm out at Wal-Mart.
dasox24
I'm just a big fan of regular old Gatorade. I don't like G2 much, but will drink it if it's free (well, that goes with about anything, lol). Then again, I normally just drink water. Like, probably 90% of what I drink is water.
DBAHO
Gatorade's my hangover juice in the morning. I get 2 bottles at the start of the week because I know by the weekend, I'll need them big time.
Brian
I love G2 to drink when I am not working out. Old fashioned Gatorade is what I drink when playing ball. Oh, and Goodbye Comcast! AT&T coming to install next week.
DBAHO
Question; I am going on a trip with about 19 people to upstate NY next weekend, and we need to hire some vehicles to get up there and back. So where would be the best place to go to? We were thinking of maybe hiring a couple of minivan's and then a smaller car, but whatever would work out the cheapest would be the best. I also get discounts from Avis and Budget through my work of around 15-20%.

Neither Avis nor Budget has the 12 person vans available at JFK or LaGuardia.
