QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 7, 2008 -> 07:16 PM)
There was a touchdown near my house, no clue where though. I was at work.

Yeah, there was a touch down on the other side of the lake from our vacation house. Either us, his sister, or his brother will need to go up there soon to make sure everything is okay.

When I got in from work last night, the dog was hiding in the basement and wouldn't come up until I called his name. Usually as soon as he hears the keys in the lock he is charging for the door. For the first time in about 6-8 months he was jumping all over me in glee that someone was home to protect him against the storm.

The bad weather plus the bad president (whoops) delayed our flight yesterday for two hours and then caused our normal 2 hour 15 minute flight to be nearly 3 1/2 from Chicago to Austin cuz we had to fly around the weather. Not to mention waiting for Air Force One to leave.
