Welcome back from the DL Mr. Rodney.

He just gave up a 3 run jack to John Bowker to give the Giants the lead in the bottom of the 8th. 6 -4 Giants. Lets go Giants.

They scored 2 more on a ground rule double by Lewis.

Then in the top of the 9th, heart attack time for the Giants. The tigers load the bases, Granderson hits a single drives in 2. Its 8-6 with 2 outs. Polanco gets thrown out for the 3rd out by a stop by Vizquel.

MLB 'fast play' ruling has its points. Getting temas like the BoSox and yankees to pick up the pace of play is a good thing, in my mind (especially when they play each other. 4 1/2 hour 9 innings games just bores me)

But Tuesday afternoon, MLB fined Ron Gardenhire for 'slow play'. Its kinda rediculous because the Twins play the fastest games is baseball! (the average was something like 2:45)

So of course, Tueday nights game against the Nats went a breezy 1:59

Let's not lose any ground today.

Diamondbacks vs. Twins (Johnson vs. Baker)

Tigers vs. Padres (Bonine vs. Maddux)

I can care less what Cleveland does, they got swept by Colorado...

Twins are playing really good baseball. After that ass kicking we gave them, I didn't expect them to be back in the race so soon.

Yea good baseball vs. the Nationals. Congratulations to them.

Yeah, so we just played horrid baseball against the Bucs, and they played horrid baseball against the Nats- but we both swept! How odd!!

7-2 Twins in the 8th, 1-0 Tigers in the 1st

Verlander has found his fastball again. He's consistently in the 96-97 mph range today.

I heard Farmer and Stone say that against the Twins, Livan "The fatass" Hernandez yelled something to Verlander during the game that pissed him off. Then, Verlander started throwing faster.

Damn you Livan, damn you!
