I'm not miserable, I just think it would be a whole lot wiser to have held onto Aardsma. I wasn't expecting him to make the team, but perhaps he surprises and actually makes the team or he had a good spring training and could actually get us something for him via trade. I'll agree to this one. There must be some personal issues or something else adding in to this move, otherwise I find it hard to believe that they'd move AAA at this point. Only if no one else is willing to sign him once he hits waivers. And some team is almost certain to do that. Enough teams out there need bullpen help that he won't slip by everyone, unless there's some sort of gentlemen's agreement with a lot of teams. Kind of a weak head, but at the same time he's got stones; I think it's more a matter of maturation for Aardsma than anything else, and it's why I really hope he stays in the organization.
