thedoctor
QUOTE(RockRaines @ Mar 8, 2008 -> 06:56 PM) Does anyone find themselves watching this show and then just thinking "f*** Lost." This show is so awesome it kills me. that describes me perfectly. as for the man on the freighter, i've thought for a long time it was michael. but they almost seem to be leading you to thinking that, setting up another surprise. it is never like this show to be predictable and right now it is predictable that it is michael. who knows, maybe it is. i always liked his character and will be happy to have him back. that then begs the question where is walt, who has not been listed on the credits this year. i've read another suggestion that the man on the boat is locke, in some kind of time-travel dealie. not sure i believe it. DBAHO
If it's Michael, it'll be a major letdown, since that's who everyone assumes it is. I'm going to say a surprise and say Charles Widmore. Don't know why, but that's my guess.

Like I said before, it has to be someone that Locke would "need to sit down for" according to Ben. It's clearly a character that people will be familar with. Easy Pick: Michael Back from the Dead Pick: Charlie Dark Horse Pick: Jack's Father Crazy Pick: Brett Favre

I think there's still a possibility of a double cross or something. Jack's Dad could be logical, but I think he's more linked with Jacob somehow instead (from when Hugo saw him). Or how about Jack's former wife Sarah (I think that's her name)?
thedoctor
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 10, 2008 -> 11:18 PM) Finally caught up!!!! I would think I will be another active voice in the thread. One thing I noticed. Jack "lied" on stand saying there were only 8 survivors from the class. He obviously is confident his story doesn't have any holes in it. So that must mean the outside world still has never found the island. If they did, obviously swarms of people would be there, and eventually find the cemetery. i think there are absolutely still crash survivors on the island. Harry Chappas
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 10, 2008 -> 09:37 PM) The only reason I think it could be in question is Ben if clearly off the island in the flash forwards (working with Sayid). Granted, Ben has been on/off the island this whole time, but I just got the sense that him being in Germany was sort of a long term deal. But we pretty much know Locke never gets off, then there are people like Sawyer who really seem to not have any desire to leave, along with minor characters like Rose/Bernard. Unless the whole island goes to s***, I would have to believe there are still people there, and they told the "six" to never speak of them again. Sayid could have been back on the island when he met with Ben....... There are still more on the island that for some reason do not get off. You find out this season why do not get off. Next season entails whey they '6' want to get back. The final season entails what happens when they get there.

Mikhail was already one of Ben's best guys, and I don't remember Desmond telling them the details of what happened to him.
Harry Chappas
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Mar 11, 2008 -> 01:37 PM) I am posting a lot in this thread all the sudden, but I need to get caught up, I feel so behind! Another idea that I thought about after getting fully caught up. Granted, I don't know what kind of exposer Rousseau's crew had to radiation or EM, but I think they were not "infected" as much as they were "time shifted" like Desmond and Winkowski. I wonder, then, if Alex has been her constant this whole time on the island, and that is why she didn't end up like the rest of her crew. I think I am pretty hip to Lost but maybe I forgot this but was Alex born on the island or brought over with the boat. I think the sickness is related to the same thing Desmond suffered. It would jsut make sense to be and not have to be another whole minor plot deliniation. If Alex was born on the island she would be an exception to every other pregnant woman.....oh wait if she was pregnant before getting ot the island she'd be ok. Oh the rules. Also what is so funny about Ben asking if the rabbit had a number on it? Edited March 11, 2008 by Jenks Heat

Also what is so funny about Ben asking if the rabbit had a number on it? That was a whole episode with Sawyer being "pwned" by Ben. I think that was supposed to be a fan joke more than a real character joke. Also as to the spy on the boat, I think it's gotta be something crazy. Michael is an easy answer. I'm thinking it's going to be someone like Locke, who magically time-warped onto the boat. Also, if we're led to believe that Widmore is trying to "exploit" the island, ala Jurassic Park, and we know that in the "future" no one knows how to get back to the island (at least not the public), wouldn't it be safe to assume that Ben "wins" the current fight that's going on? He also seems to be doing pretty well in his veterinarian office in Berlin.

DBAHO
Just caught The Other Woman last night. Pretty weak episode I thought. Nothing really new, don't like the flashbacks much now. And they don't need to make Ben that type of crazy. Leave him as he is. He should always get the last line though.
