Florida won't trade Juan Pierre for Aaron Rowand.

 

Colon won't be on the Sox and I wouldn't want to give up those 3 to get him especially when we won't be able to resign him after he is an unrestricted free agent after next season.

 

They will either get Moyer, Byrd or someone else not as good as either of them IMO.

 

However, in good humor, I realize you aren't serious in your post and so I commend your conservative predictions!

Wow, I must be out of it. I never realized Pierre went to Florida. Was that part of the Hampton deal?

 

And what do you mean Im not being serious? Does it appear that way?

I thought he posted this before the trade went down, but I'm not sure.

 

Still, I'd like to get a hold off Pierre, but I think the Marlins like him quite a bit.

 

That means in all likelihood someone like Hollandsworth or Alex Ochoa will be picked up if anything.

I wanted to get Ochoa anyways....when Rowand comes back and is healthy and playing well again, that gives us a good 4th outfielder/pinch hitter/pinch runner option off the bench. That would be a pretty good move IMO.

Well, the fact that you have the Sox winning the World Series, pretty much makes it seem like your not being serious.
