That was criminal, I hate Paul Kariya and hate the Avs now perhaps more then the Yankees. How about that for an arbitration case? We can't pay him that, Paul Kariya only makes 1.2 million and he's way better. For him to take 90 million from the Ducks over the last 9 years and then take 1.2 from Colorado( who really needed the help) is really weak. He's gonna ask for like 12million next year and I hope nobody signs him at all. I can't wait for the labor dispute to begin and the NHL to fold.

I actually think Kariya signing for 1.2 million is great because it makes the BlackHawks Organization look even more pathetic than it has over the years. When GM Mike Smith was asked why the Hawks didn't pursue Kariya since he signed for 1.2 million, Smith stated, "One player isn't going to turn this Organization around."

I love them and they have the coolest jerseys in all sports but the Hawk organization blows the biggest chunks. Year after year I see the most incompetent idiots make decisions there.
