Soxbadger
Weber gets a TO. He must have said something really bad, or just the refs hate him because I didnt really see him do anything. Tim Jarmusz playing his first meaningful minutes (meaningful as in the game isnt out of hand yet) and he gets a rebound. Randle injured his arm on a screen earlier. Strange game, and why does Bo have to keep Bohannon on the bench to start. Yes I know he likes to use the same starting line up, but every game Wisconsin gets off to a slow start when hes on the bench. His range and ability to drive makes space for everyone. Jimbo's Drinker
looks like Wake figured out the blueplan for beating Duke, go right at them. Miami is doing it tonight!!!! Duke has no depth and relies on 3's, easy matchup.
Soxbadger
I know Im just making this up for comedic effect, but I swear I read Bohannon'slips and he said to Flowers: "you know I cant guard a black guy"
Soxbadger
Anyone watching the Wisconsin game may see a really rare site, a Wisconsin player fouling out. Krabbenhoft has 4 with 8 minutes left and a few other guys have 3.

Palehosefan
I don't have a stake in it, but I think Purdue looks pretty good the rest of the way.

whitesoxfan101
Why so many black shirts in the orange krush tonight? Looked like almost half of the students had black chief tees on, I don't think I've ever seen that. Anyways, it was a loss both of talent and karma tonight. When the perpetrator of a felony that led to a teammate getting critically injured lasts longer in a program than the said injured teammate, you deserve bad things to happen to your program. Thanks Bruce Weber. And in other news, people are finally seeing the very obvious way to beat Duke. Collins and Asbury at the forwards with 26 and 15 tonight (although McClinton was good in the backcourt as well), the game after Skeen had 10 and 9 and Johnson had 24 and 16 (although again, Teague was really good with 26). If your patient with the bigs and have one good guard, Duke is very beatable. I would be shocked if they get past the Sweet 16, and that win probably got DA U in the dance. Soxbadger
Here is my Big Ten Prediction (First with my head, then with my heart): 1. Purdue (Wins out) 2. Wisconsin (loses 1) 2. Indiana (loses 1) 4. MSU (loses 2) In the Big 10 tournament Purdue would be the #1 seed, Wisconsin #2 seed because of head to head. Not that it really matters as im pretty sure that the game is being played in Indiana this year. Here is my heart prediction: 1. Wisconsin (wins out) 2. Purdue (loses 1) 2. Indiana (loses 1) 4. MSU (loses 2) If Purdue and Wisconsin tie it will be so bitter because all Wisconsin had to do was protect home court. Heads22
QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Feb 20, 2008 -> 10:19 PM) Nebraska fans rushed the court after beating #25 K-State. Amazing. Pitiful. First of all, there's maybe a couple hundred of them. Secondly, it's the #25 team. Third, it's Kansas f***ing State. That whole damn state is messed up. Soxbadger
There needs to be rules on rushing the court. When I saw them rush against K-State I was confused.
whitesoxfan101
Ahh the black shirts were due to the one year anniversary of the Chief's last dance. About as much a waste of time as the game was.
CWSGuy406
QUOTE(fathom @ Feb 21, 2008 -> 01:41 AM) Interesting they burned his redshirt season. I don't blame them. It would've been tough for Crean to say "no" to him, you know? Kid tears his ACL (IIRC) in the pre-season and works his ass off to get back on the court within an amazingly short amount of time, and you're going to tell him that he's going to have to watch the final five games of the regular season, the Big East tournament as well as the NCAAs (hopefully -- I think we need at least two more BE wins to guarantee a spot)? If Crean tells him no, he'd also be risking pissing Mbakwe off (thank God Tubby Smith came a year late, as who knows if Crean still grabs him if Tubby was at Minny) to the point of transfering. Damn did he play well tonight. He was challenged one time in the post and took a charge (probably flopped a bit but whatever, play to the refs), went up strong when he got the ball on offense and grabbed some real nice rebounds. He's immediately become our most competent big man. Gun to your head here, fathom -- Marquette wins X amount of games (if they get a bid) in the NCAAs this year. Rowand44
We're honestly like a top 20 team at home and a bottom 200 team on the road. It's absolutely ridiculous.

The reason I think the Salukis have such a good shot at Arch Madness is because of their home court advantage. Yup, it'll be nice to have the most fans there. As I told you before I really think it'll be us or Bradley with a lean towards BU right now. Can't count CU out either as Altman has pretty much owned that tournament but I just don't think they'll pull it off. I really, really don't think it's going to be Drake though, their style of play isn't exactly ideal for winning 3 games in 3 days. Anyways, I'm very interested to see how we play on Tuesday at BU(obviously we have Nevada first but it's at home). I already have it down as a L but if we do win, we might actually be turning that corner. But this team has let me down way too much, so I'm expecting another one.
