Even this guy picked KU to not make it out of the Midwest region. :)

Not to jinx your boys, Jimbo, but if Kansas wins it all, I win $500.

Time to pull my Brandon Wood avatar down as he's going to be gone now. I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to be able to field a team next year.

I talked to a buddy that hangs with Brandon and he said he will be back next year.

So the courts tomorrow are going to be raised 2 feet to allow for the crazy new football stadium set up.

I wonder if it will be an advantage for Big 10 teams who have to play at Minnesota which still has a raised court.

Perhaps, but I just think everybody is going to be f***ed up with the court at the usual 50 yard line instead of in one of the end zones like a normal dome setting.

Brook Lopez, C, Stanford- Obviously, Lopez has the God-given size to play in the NBA. But he can use some seasoning on the defensive end (brother, Robin is a better defender and rebounder), and waiting a year could result in being the number one pick. Verdict: Stay in School

Robin Lopez, C, Stanford - The second half of the Lopez Twins' entry, Robin is ready for the NBA on the defensive end. His offense needs work, but will never be at the level of his brother. Verdict: Go Pro

Uh, no.

So this has been by far the most boring second weekend I can ever remember in the tournament. The elite 8 games have been terrible and outside of the Xavier/WVU game there really hasn't been a single exciting game. I do think that the final 4 should be fantastic because assuming that KU wins the 4 best teams in the country will be represented.

My only rooting interest in the Final Four will be to cheer against UNC(sorry palehose) but I'm definitely looking forward to next weekend, there should be some awesome games.

Bennett said No to IU. Apparently they've essentially told Miller the job's his if he wants it, but I'm doubting he takes it. I'd be ecstatic if he did though.

Not so sure about Miller. Apparently there could be large buyout issues with him.

I don't buy that for one second. If they can get a donor to cough up $550,000 at the drop of a hat to replace Sampson, they can get a few to donate the 2 million needed to buyout Miller. That should be a non issue, especially since I think he's by far the best option at the moment.

Looks like Bassett and Ellis are gone from IU. Also, how exactly does Dakich have the power to do this right now? I would think this has to becoming from higher than him in the athletic department. Also, the reasoning sounds fishy to me. Letting a lame duck coach kick players off the team for missing a meeting? There has to be more to the story than that.
