Heads22
QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 11, 2008 -> 12:24 AM) You know the KU men's football team, bball team and women's bball team is like 37-4 combined. geez!!! ah the days of jackson "count dracula" vroman. I dunno, Chenowith has his Dracula-like qualities. At least we challenged you guys in Hilton last year. Hopefully we can do it again this year. The Jayhawks are still, by far, our biggest basketball rival. You guys probably don't see it the same way, but that's the game we look for each year. whitesoxfan101
Undefeated Wazzu visits once beaten UCLA in a top 5 showdown in Los Angeles today. Wazzu is the first slow it down team I've ever enjoyed watching, and this should be a grind it out game down to the end.
CWSGuy406
Marquette vs ND tomorrow. I have a feeling ND is the better team, but luckily the game will be played in Milwaukee in front of a sold out crowd. Hopefully Dominic James is at least 90% for tomorrow, too -- he, McNeal and Hayward need to step up big. Soxbadger
Minnesota wins. Id say Tubby Smith early favorite for Big 10 coach of the year. I know Bo Ryan could be a candidate, but unlike Seth Davis and other sports pundits, I felt Wisconsin would be competing for a Big 10 title to start the year so their record isnt a huge shock to me. Minnesota on the other hand would have been a bottom dweller, but Tubby has some magic going on.

CWSGuy406
Luke Harangody has to be one of the most unheralded big men in the country. He's a player -- bit of a whiner but he's tough. Marquette took care of business, though -- pounded those Irish bastards.
danman31
Looks like Missouri had a lucky shooting day today in Columbia to beat Texas. They'll probably follow it up with a loss at Iowa State.

In fact, I have had that game earmarked on IU's schedule along with the game at Wisky as games I am really worried about for IU. Any game in the Big Ten could bite you in the ass and I am not looking past tomorrow (okay, who I am kidding, I pretty much am lol) but Thursday's game at The Barn is worrisome. IU has traditionally not played well there.

Before you go ga-ga over Tubby and Minnesota consider the fact that their wins are: Army, Iowa St., Central Michigan, UC Riverside, North Dakota St, Colorado St., Santa Clara, Nicholls St., Kennesaw St., Northwestern, and Penn State. Pathetic. They haven't beaten one worthwhile opponent. Indiana by 20+...White is playing like an absolute animal lately. Ellis does everything. Gordon is Gordon. And the bench is very strong assuming Bassett is healthy enough to play. Edited January 13, 2008 by sircaffey
