How can Cincinnati not be mentioned as the worst team in football? I haven't heard Houshmandzedah's name or Chad's name once this year (besides the name changing thing). Carson Palmer can't throw the ball, and the defense is bad (way to be the last 1st rounder to be signed, Rivers, ya dope).

I think they'll have a top 3 pick next year.

1 Chiefs- Sam Bradford, Oklahoma, QB

2 Rams- Michael Oher, Mississippi, OT

3 Bengals- Michael Johnson, Georgia Tech, DE

4 Lions- Vontae Davis, Illinois, CB

5 Dolphins- Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech, WR

The Bengals will be better when all is said and done... I'm thinking 6 wins, which none of the other teams you've got there will approach.

I'm not sure where you came up with 6 wins.

The only games they COULD win from here on out is @ Houston, Baltimore, Washington, and Kansas City. And they might not even beat Washington or Houston.

so do the Jags suck or are the Bills good? Cuz that was a pretty sweet win.

Oakland this week, St. Louis next week, and then Arizona the next week...win 2 of the 3 and I'll be a happy camper (and I figure the game they'll lose is against Zona because they look ridiculous)

You guys have one of the premier RB's in football, a good defense and a 24 year old qb who is passing the ball at a 71% clip. I think the Bills ARE that good.

I was thinking the other day. Would it make sense to acquire Carson Palmer in the off-season. I haven't seen whats wrong in Cinncy but he always has impressed me but the Bengals have no running game, a horrid defense, and a terrible oline. This could be a perfect opportunity to buy a little low and get a guy who can be your QB for 4-6 years.

If we landed Palmer it would be the happiest day for me as a bear fan since the Saints NFC championship game.

I think Lynch, who I love and think he's going to be a workhorse for 4-5 years or so, is a bit overrated at the moment, but at the same time I think the Bills receivers are a bit underrated too. Lee Evans is one of the top 10-15 receivers in the NFL, James Hardy is quick and is just a huge target wherever he is, Parrish is a nice little slot receiver, and Royal is a nice tight end for Edwards to throw to as well. That's not including Lynch, who himself is a pretty good receiver out of the backfield.

I'm just really excited, and with the young talent the Bills have defensively along with how quick they are and with a bit of depth, I just can't help but get excited that the Pats might possibly go down. It's way too early and they haven't done a ton offensively to impress me, but I just get a really good feeling about this team. A huge key is the health of Trent Edwards, because he's a bit fragile, but if they keep him healthy, I think they have a chance to be a damn good team. I expect 10 wins with a soft schedule and I honestly don't think I'd be surprised with 11 or 12.

Coming into the off-season, the Bills weakness was the front 7. So what did they do? Added a beast of a DT in Marcus Stroud, and a very sound LB in Kawika Mitchell (I personally thought they were going to land Briggs). Also, they were just solid at CB, but by adding Leodis McKelvin, to me, they were my surprise AFC playoff team this year. And now...poof.

The problem is...teams typically don't trade their one franchise level QB unless something else happens. Either they have a backup who appears ready to step in, they spend a draft pick on a QB who plays well, or the QB gets hurt and their backup shows ability. Even bad teams tend to stick with their QB's until something else becomes available. I just don't see how the Bengals would do anything like moving their QB unless he gets hurt.

I hate it when my genitals get in the way of a good picture. Don't you?

He did it on purpose. He's got weird sex issues. (at least that's what I get given this picture)

That's false. He did visit the Lions, but just as part of their general talent evaluatoin. They are not signing him.

Some Austin city official said that Benson signed a contract (hence me calling it a rumor). I don't have a link but it's from the Free Press site.

He'd be the last guy they'd trade from their roster I'd say.

Marvin Lewis will be right behind Scott Linehan on the unemployment line soon enough though.

I'll do this every week.

My Bears mock:

**Trade our 1st to whatever team for their 2nd and a 3rd**

2. Herman Johnson, OG, LSU

2. Cullen Harper, QB, Clemson

3. Larry English, DE, Northern Illinois

3. Derek Pegues, S, Mississippi State

3. (COMP FOR BERRIAN) Max Unger, OT/C, Oregon

4. BJ Raji, DT, Boston College

5. Derrick Williams, WR, Penn State

6. Steve Rehring, OG, Ohio State

7. Worrell Williams, LB, California

ok last week I basically said their are worse teams than the Chiefs. after last weeks game with Oakland and already down 14-0 to Atlanta, as of now they probably are the worst team. the QB situation is horrendous. they have something like 25 rookies and second year players, so hopefully they improve throughout the season.
