whitesoxbrian
This OL is a bad run blocking group. Pitiful. Forte has no holes. Orton is starting to blossom. He is confident and is making throws. Hopefully this isn't a jinx, but even if it is, so be it. He has looked good.
Brian
If the Bears win, it feels like Brenneman and Billick will start crying.
knightni
Billick seems pretty incompetent as a color analyst.

Brian
Can we break into Halas Hall and ditch any run play for Jason McKie? The guy is the worst FB at getting 1 yard when we need it. Not too mention we could easily have run it in off tackle.
knightni
Why isn't Hester returning anything anymore? I don't expect a TD every time, but, he seems to call a lot of fair catches.

GoodAsGould
someone needs to get fired on the defensive side of the ball. All game they convert on 3rd and longs and than this, when the game was all but over. Also what the hell was Turner thinking running McKie on the goal-line, he has only sucked the whole season. The Critic
Wow. What a finish to this game. Elam hits a 48-yarder to erase his missing the chip shot earlier. Bears lose 22-20.

Brian
QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 12, 2008 -> 02:08 PM) Babich is so f***ing bad at his job. How do you sit in a Cover 2 on that play and let them make that pass to get in FG range? Babich played that like they had to throw it in the end zone. What a dumbass. Wanne
Are you f***in' s***tin' me?!?!?!?....Just why in the f*** do you squib kick and give them excellent field position to have exactly what needed to happen happen. Kick it friggin deep so the clock runs down and expect you ST coverage to tackle them. Goddamn Lovie... what a disheartening loss.

It would seem that you'd want them as deep in their own end as you could get them, to keep them as far away as possible from the most likely thing that could beat you (a long field goal). That funky motion
When the ball was hiked the clock didn't move for almost a second and a half. Did anyone else catch that?
The Critic
QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 12, 2008 -> 03:14 PM) Did you guys see Norwood return kicks today? Not really (I'm assuming he's good from the tone of the response), but I did hear that Elam was 30-for-30 until that miss this season. I guess you pick your poison, but the poison they chose killed them.

I don't care how good his returns were today. Odds of him taking to the house were not that great....and IT. RUNS. THE. CLOCK OUT!!!!!!!!!!! Granted...you'd think this secondary could cover just ONCE today a deep pass. Mike Brown's time has passed. He's HORRIBLE in coverage anymore. Still...a bad decision to not kick it deep IMO. zenryan
why not do a pooch kick to the 20 or so if youre scared to kick it deep. Unless there is 1 second left in the game, you should never squib it. I'm a Bucs fan and I really wanted the Bears to beat a NFC South foe. Ugh.
