T R U
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 03:28 PM) Anquan Boldin and TJ Houshmandzadeh aren't freaks of nature either. So, I'll take either of them over Marshall. Uh, Boldin is like 6'1 220 and one of the most physically imposing WR's in the league.. should prolly pick someone else as an example
shipps
DeAngelo Hall signs with the Skins. No shock there.
whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (Shadows @ Nov 8, 2008 -> 03:28 AM) Uh, Boldin is like 6'1 220 and one of the most physically imposing WR's in the league.. should prolly pick someone else as an example When I said freak of nature, I was using guys who were tall and with a few more pounds. Boldin is 6'1, which isn't anything special for a WR. Fitzgerald, A. Johnson, and Marshall are all 6'3-6'4 225-235.
whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 7, 2008 -> 11:51 PM) To go a step further than Tony, I will go on and bet you didn't vote for Obama, even if you are a democrat. We'll leave it at that. I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I did vote for Obama.

Kyyle23
The Bears have now won(and deferred) 9 coin flips in a row.
GoodAsGould
Why is it we are always getting beat on 3rd and long. It seems teams are more likely to convert on 3rd and long than they are 3rd and short. I wish we would make an adjustment because it has been happening all season, especially against the falcons. Chisoxfn
I think the Bears defense is showing up. The key will be the pass rush on the 3rd down's though because if Collins gets time with single coverage he'll make plays. Offensively obviously the key will be the performance of the line and RExy. Chisoxfn
Tons of penetration...I love it...Time for a turnover or at least a turnover on downs
GoodAsGould
we need to abandon the cover 2 on 3rd and long, every damn time. Urlacher was somehow behind the WR 15 yards down the field, thats ridiculous.
knightni
I'm thinking that the Bears should look at getting a punter in next year's draft.
knightni
Always seem to give up the 15 yard WR play in the middle.

Defensive line has looked great except when it comes to the pass rush, but the Bears haven't exactly blitzed in passing situations yet. Vasher and Tillman have played very well though as its hard to defense an over the middle pass when Collins gets that much time. Time for a good drive here though cause the defense has been on the field for a while and obviously the titans are currently in a good spot in terms of field position (with the Bears being backed up again). Unless he has a golden leg you dont waste a draft pick on a punter. I dont follow college punters lol so dont know if anyone has that type of leg thats worth a pick. GoodAsGould
We are definitely the worse team at screens. Every time it seems like they go for no gains, also John Tait really sucks at this point in his career, always being pushed back on pass blocking and makes no room for run blocking. Chisoxfn
Well I'll take a new punter...Maynard was great for a long time but he's lost it. That was a terrible kick (zero hangtime and poor distance) and it led to that great field position for the Titans (and the opportunity for such a big return). knightni
Using a 4th/5th rounder on the best punter in college football is hardly a risk.

maggsmaggs
We can't get any pass rush on Collins. Come on guys, he is as immobile in the pocket as any NFL QB, bring a corner blitz or something to get him under some pressure.

Bring Payne on a blitz who is a great blitzer as a safety, something to get Collins rattled and throw a bad ball.
