Pat and Kevin Williams, among others, have been suspended for the rest of the season.

One week too late, but this seriously helps the Bears.

No doubt, especially since they have to face Smith, Hightower, Turner, and Jacobs/Bradshaw/Ward the rest of the year without those 2 guys.

Also, Grant and Smith will be out when we play New Orleans and they have 6 sacks between the 2. They aren't having a great season, either of the 2, but they have so much potential and any game they can get 2 or 3 sacks each.

As Lee Corso woulda say...NOT so fast my friend.

Correct me if I'm wrong law experts (where you at to help us out Soxbadger?) but I don't think that judge has the authority to do something like that. It's collectively bargained stuff that got them in trouble, regardless of what their excuse is.

Of course, they go to the judge in Minneapolis. Let's have the hearing in Green Bay, shall we?

it makes sense to go to the judge in the state you work in to file a work grievance, doesn't it?

I understand the facetiousness, but yeah.

Who are the worst franchises in sports?

1. Raiders

2. Nationals

3. Thrashers

3b. Panthers

How could you not have the Lions #1? At least the Raiders have a history of good franchises and won 3 Super Bowls.

The Panthers and Raiders each played for their respective sport's championship within the last 12 years. To me, that gives them a pass (but I'm old and still remember the 1996 Cup Finals and the Bucs v. Raiders Super Bowl). I'm sure most Detroit Lions fans would agree.

In my fantasy land, the Jags let Gregg Williams go, Bob Babich is dumped, and Williams comes to the Bears.

Really? You want the DC from one of the worst teams all season? I understand that Williams has a nice history, but to see the Jaguars pack it in with a good portion of the season left is pretty telling on how much the coaching is getting through to the players.

And this isnt to say I want to keep Babich, I want him gone yesterday
