SoxFan1
QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 02:38 PM) Yeah, that was a good 4 games. He was injured Nov 2nd vs Detroit, meaning he was about 7 1/2 games into the season.
nitetrain8601
Well the Vikings gave the Bears their chance and Bears didn't take it.
daa84
wow we are getting tons of help from a horrid oakland team, and a giants team with nothing to play for...and we are gonna blow it...pathetic
maggsmaggs
The entire demise of the Bears season is defense related. While the offense isn't great, it hasn't lost as many games as the defense. Ogunleye and Vasher can go with their huge overpayed contracts. fathom
This has to be one of the most frustrating Bears years I can remember. So many games that were blown that should have been victories, and now just a terrible week 17 of the season.

While the offense isn't great, it hasn't lost as many games as the defense. Ogunleye and Vasher can go with their huge overpayed contracts. Tillman would be first on the defensive list along with Urlacher.
maggsmaggs
QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 02:42 PM) This has to be one of the most frustrating Bears years I can remember. So many games that were blown that should have been victories, and now just a terrible week 17 of the season. Especially considering that everything is going the Bears way in the other games. Babich is so horrible it's amazing. This D has gone from top 5 in the league to bottom 10 with the same personnel, but different coach. Friend of Nordhagen
What a heartless crew. Quite a reflection on the head coach.
maggsmaggs
QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 02:43 PM) There's no way he'll survive this offseason (I mean that with the organization, not with his personal well-being). Marinelli would be a perfect replacement. Knows the division and is a great defensive coach, especially on the D-Line.

The Critic
Nice job of poking the ball out by the Texans DB. Saved a TD.
nitetrain8601
Olson had that ball and it should've been a TD. One thing I noticed is that Orton eyes his receiver too much.

SoxFan1
QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Dec 28, 2008 -> 02:47 PM) we could use a starting FS, starting SS, a shut down CB, an outside linebacker, a fullback, a backup RB, a QB, 3 OLman and #1 and #2 WR for starters. Fixed.
