Brian
Not sure how much I will be watching. I used to see every movie nominated but haven't the past few years and haven't seen any of the things nominated. Charlize Theron on the red carpet. She will never be unattractive. Milkman delivers
I'm actually going to try to watch the whole thing tonight. I haven't actually watched the entire show in probably 5 years or so. I'm going with Daniel Day-Lewis for best actor, Javier Bardem for best supporting actor, and No Country For Old Men for best picture. The rest of the awards I can admit that I have no idea, as I really haven't seen enough of the movies that the actresses that are up for the awards are in. The more I think about it, the best supporting actor should be really close and I can see any of the five taking it home. And for best directing, I'm gonna go with either NCFOM or TWBB. Brian
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Feb 24, 2008 -> 06:01 PM) Apparently you've never seen Monster. She was super hot in that. I meant when she is out and about as herself.
DBAHO
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Feb 25, 2008 -> 11:01 AM) Apparently you've never seen Monster. Well played sir. And then there was Aeon Flux, I don't know what she was thinking there. I'm rooting for Ellen Page, but I doubt she wins. Be nice if Juno won something though. That French Actress may get it instead maybe.

Conan has a few inches. I was glad Bourne Ultimatum won both sound Oscars cuz it is the only movie I have seen that is nominated for something. Jessica Alba is easily the sexiest pregnant woman ever! Milkman delivers
I thought it was kind of weird that they had a cutoff date for the In Memorandum thing. I just kind of feel that Roy Scheider should've been mentioned, as he only died like a week and a half ago, but now they won't say anything about his death until well over a year later. They've always had a cut-off date, this is first year they actually posted it for everybody to see. I have a feeling that was in reaction to how many people have complained that "so and so" was missed. This way they are just explaining to everybody why their fave dead person got left out. Next year the two I am looking for: Ben Chapman - Played the land Creature in Creature From The Black Lagoon Maila Nurmi - Vampira I liked Transformers, but I was never a fan of the cartoon. Kid, did I ever tell you that I used to work with a guy who was a safety diver on the set of Creature From The Black Lagoon? He was one of the guys waiting in the cave ad behind weeds with air hoses for Ricou Browning and Ginger Stanley in the Wakulla underwater scenes.
