Breaking in a new baseball cap

Balance

Recommended Posts

Yesterday was my birthday, and one of the gifts I received was a new Sox cap.

This is actually the first time I've had a fitted cap as opposed to an adjustable cap.

It needs to be broken in.

This got me thinking. How do you go about breaking in your baseball caps? What better place to talk about it than here?

Nowadays I wear my cap straight billed no bend in it.Kinda tougher look.

LOL, if that's how you want to term it.

I have a 'perfect curve', that helps the bill out. Otherwise you can use a rubber band if you're careful with it.

Also, wearing it in the rain for a little while helps it form to your head better. That or get a decent sweat going in it.

They have cap holders that fit inside the cap that help it to keep shape. They are made so that you can put it in the dishwasher and clean it.

It might help to re-size it some*.

*/I'm not at fault if anything happens though, I've never tried it myself. :)

i've heard of taking a shower with it on as well.

or you could just wear it for 5 years until it's definitely "broken in"......among other things.
