I wonder if they aren't thinking of using him at DE....

Kellen Davis TE 6'7" 262 Michigan State

Pick Analysis:Davis played both tight end and defensive end last year at Michigan State. He is a talented pass rusher and has the size to make plays offensively as well. Ran a 4.59 in the 40, impressive given his size, and had four sacks in limited time on defense. There is some thought that his best spot could be at defensive end, but as Mike Vrabel has shown, it never hurts to have tight end skills as a pass rusher.

Add 30 pounds, he's a decent guard or OT maybe.

So, Andre Woodson is a 7th rounder. Sucks for him. I don't understand that at all.

Bet Bears take him with one of the 7 round picks. I like tall QB's although Woodson didn't stand out to me the one time I saw him this year.

Jerry Angelo needs to go.

He can't draft at all.

Green?

Hope they are not even thinking about Colt Brennen.

Nevermind. He quietly got drafted.

Hasnt he drafted 6 or more pro bowlers in late rounds the last several years? Thats pretty good. Check out the Lions for poor drafting textbooks

Bears singed a FA QB after the draft. Nick Hill from SIU....Good luck

Bears agree to deal with Southern Illinois QB

By Vaughn McClure, 8:31 p.m.

After not drafting a quarterback, Jerry Angelo said the Bears would look to sign a couple undrafted free-agent. The Bears have lined up at least one, agreeing to terms on a standard three-year deal with Southern Illinois' Nick Hill.

The 6-foot-2, 214-pound Hill started all 14 games for the Salukis in 2007. He completed 258 of 361 passes for 3,175 yards with 28 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

"We’re very excited about this opportunity for Nick,'' said agent Andrew Simms. "You always want your clients drafted. But when that doesn't happen, it's always about the next opportunity. With just two quarterbacks over there in Chicago, Nick has the opportunity to compete."

Ha. That's awesome. He can definitely chuck it and is pretty mobile. Doubt he makes the team though.
