EvilJester99
They are discussing Stelz now.....sounds positive...they compared him to Plank...the article said Fencik, so it can't be all bad.
jackie hayes
QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Apr 27, 2008 -> 01:01 PM) They are discussing Stelz now.....sounds positive...they compared him to Plank...the article said Fencik, so it can't be all bad. He's all sorts of good things, hard worker, smart, good tackler, blah blah blah. But he's also slow and he's going to be a liability in coverage because of it. knightni
QUOTE (jackie hayes @ Apr 27, 2008 -> 01:00 PM) No, they did nothing even close to that. Hard hitter. check. Good attitude. check. Plays the run well. check. Injury history. check. Sounds a lot like Mike Brown to me.

EvilJester99
I didn't even see the pick of Harrison. I like that one. He is a big body who can block up the run.

shipps
Booty going to Minnesota might turn out to be a stellar pick for them.
knightni
Can't have boat cruises in Minnesota without Booty.
EvilJester99
Hopefully the Bears are still looking for an OG...Donald Thomas 6' 4 and 303lbs from Conn. would be a solid choice me thinks. Another OT could be Brandon Keith from Northern Iowa. Edited April 27, 2008 by EvilJester99

Brian
Zack, Zack, the cornerBack! 4.39 forty. Nice. Definitely the type of guy Lovie loves in his secondary.

The first 3 picks were on offense. Bears have needs on D as well and this is where Angelo has succeeded in working on the defense.

EvilJester99
I wonder if they aren't thinking of using him at DE.... Kellen Davis TE 6'7" 262 Michigan State Pick Analysis:Davis played both tight end and defensive end last year at Michigan State. He is a talented pass rusher and has the size to make plays offensively as well. Ran a 4.59 in the 40, impressive given his size, and had four sacks in limited time on defense. There is some thought that his best spot could be at defensive end, but as Mike Vrabel has shown, it never hurts to have tight end skills as a pass rusher.
