ChWRoCk2
f*** yeah, I picked the Davidson over Gtown upset. One thing I've done right is pick the upsets.
IlliniKrush
I love seeing Davidson win, went to high school with Jason Richards. He went to Barrington and was a freshman when I was a senior (his sister was also a senior, played at Iowa). It was fun watching him torch teams then, and starting a "he's a freshman" chant. He was good then and he's good now. It's just eery to watch him on the national stage like this, again.
Soxbadger
Its strange watching a game where Wisconsin is being picked by most of the experts. Hopefully Curry doesnt go insane, should be a fun one.
whitesoxfan99
Stephen Curry is one of the best shooters I have ever seen.
RockRaines
I knew Davidson played UNC and Duke tough, but I guess I didnt realize their other games like UCLA and Stanford. Jesus they are a tough team. How long till their coach gets a call from IU?
Soxbadger
Hughes down. Bohannon in. Personally I love what Bohannon does and think he makes good decisions with the ball and is an underrated driver and defender. If hughes is down for the 2nd half the name Jarmusz may become important because that would be the next guard off the bench. Lanky white guy, supposedly he can shoot lights out. HuskyCaucasian
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Mar 23, 2008 -> 07:01 PM) Stephen Curry is incredible. You've gotta think his NBA stock is soaring right now. 8 minutes left in the game and he has 29 pts on 10/20 shooting and 6/11 from 3 point land. This kid is SICK! He is playing himself not only into the lottery, but into the top 10, if not 5.
RockRaines
Wow, why oh why do I ever pick Wisco. Dammit.

Bo Ryan has never beaten a higher seed than a 9 in the tourney. You should never pick Wisconsin to play above their seed.

Heads22
To reach the Final Four, Kansas has to bulldoze a 16, an 8, a 12 and a 10.

Rowand44
Curry is just a joy to watch. I think I said that after the GTown game, but that's all I got, he's ridiculous.
whitesoxfan101
Looks like I was right all along about the Big 10 and should have stuck to my guns. This Davidson group is a much better TEAM than I thought though. Curry is obviously amazing, but they force so many turnovers and have a lot of guys that make shots. Good luck to them dealing with Kansas though, not sure how that is going to go for them.

Yeah, I doubt he leaves, shooting guards that are closer to 6-foot than 6'6" don't generally fair well in the draft.

I was just embarassed by that statement. Two teams made it to the Sweet 16, with one losing to a mid major double digit seed by 20 and the other down by 30 at halftime. They sure showed me!! I may have been wrong about the timing of the exits, but not about the garbage that is the teams. And Curry isn't going anywhere, scouts don't like skinny 6'2 guards that can't play point, even if they are the best shooter in years like Curry is. JuiceCruz16
The big 11 needs to get more athletic and start playing basketball again. That UGLY grind it out all defense is not only painful to watch but it is a tough to style win with, when you do little to nothing on the offensive end. Mich. St. and Wisky were solid teams but with the lack of any real scoring, save a hot Neitzel here and there they got about as far as they could hope to have gone. The Davidson matchup should have been well within Wisconsin's skills though. They didn't use their massive low post mis- matches, and their vaunted dee was lit up. I argued with a buddy about Davidson being a top 25 team when UNC beat them in a close one to open the season, but elite 8 I didn't see. Kansas looks as strong as ever, they are a load to deal with for any team, Davidson has more then their hands filled, but George Mason did take out the best team in the nation in the elite 8 by beating UCONN in their cinderella run to the 4, so who knows. Congrats on a solid year to the Wisky fans! Edited March 29, 2008 by JuiceCruz16
