daa84
QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Mar 21, 2008 -> 03:07 PM) Sounds like Verne Lundquist. And if it is, have some respect, the man's been doing pbp since the 20's...1820's, that is. lundquist did the UT american game....ill never forget his voice just because of the happy gilmore "a rather large an economically diverse crowd" quote... The announcers were Tim Brando and Mike Gminski http://awfulannouncing.blogspot.com/2008/0...-round-one.html
SoxFan1
Flippin' Zaga and St. Mary's let me down. The last second shot by WKU broke my heart.

chimpy2121
I'm so happy Tallahassee's CBS affiliate cut to the 5:00 news to talk about a FAMU shooting for 1 minute. Now it is the regular news (if you can call asking who likes BigMacs over Filet of Fish regular news) instead of the close Uconn/SD game. Luckily I got my play by play guy (heads) giving me updates. I know, but I got MLB.tv running for the Sox, and the internet is already slow enough as it is so it's choppy. I wouldn't mind doing it that way, but Heads is being kickass and giving me the updates as it happens rather than being delayed a minute or two for the online feed. knightni
Damn. San Diego will lose now. FYI - Jones on San Diego is Jim Jones III. Yes, THAT Jim Jones.
Brian
I was laughing after that foul that let UConn tie it at the end of regulation cuz the UConn cheerleaders stood up and started doing that "You, You.." chant right in the SD guy's face. knightni
Anyone else laugh that some woman named her son "Gyno"? Wonder if she saw the OBY/GYNO sign in the delivery room.

whitesoxfan101
I went 3-5 in the first round here, and lost two sweet 16 teams and an elite 8 team (lol). This region was already pathetic in terms of the teams (and is moreso now with the results today), but it has been VERY fun to watch, which is all that matters. It'd have just been perfect and fitting had Belmont beaten Duke though, however despite that UCLA has to be feeling very good about it's chances with this competition, as they can cruise in this region while the other 3 beat each other up.
