Sounds like Verne Lundquist. And if it is, have some respect, the man's been doing pbp since the 20's...1820's, that is.

lundquist did the UT american game....ill never forget his voice just because of the happy gilmore "a rather large an economically diverse crowd" quote...

The announcers were Tim Brando and Mike Gminski

I'm so happy Tallahassee's CBS affiliate cut to the 5:00 news to talk about a FAMU shooting for 1 minute. Now it is the regular news (if you can call asking who likes BigMacs over Filet of Fish regular news) instead of the close Uconn/SD game. Luckily I got my play by play guy (heads) giving me updates.

http://www.ncaasports.com/mmod lets you view games.

I know, but I got MLB.tv running for the Sox, and the internet is already slow enough as it is so it's choppy. I wouldn't mind doing it that way, but Heads is being kickass and giving me the updates as it happens rather than being delayed a minute or two for the online feed.

I went 3-5 in the first round here, and lost two sweet 16 teams and an elite 8 team (lol). This region was already pathetic in terms of the teams (and is moreso now with the results today), but it has been VERY fun to watch, which is all that matters. It'd have just been perfect and fitting had Belmont beaten Duke though, however despite that UCLA has to be feeling very good about it's chances with this competition, as they can cruise in this region while the other 3 beat each other up.

I had UConn in the next round as well. Nothing like looking at that big red line before they even play.
