Palehosefan
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/ncaatourney0...tory?id=3297989 Thought that article was pretty interesting. Over the past 4 years UNC has a 86% grad rate, with Duke at 67%. Yet the media will never mention it and keeping portraying the lie that Duke's basketball players are on par with their student body. Duke's student body averages about 1380 on the old SAT system and their basketball teams have been at around 1070, same as the rest of the ACC. Not that I'm bitter or anything. dasox24
33%, huh? Makes me proud to be a Vol... lol Seriously, though, we've been through 2 different coaches since that study was done, and I'd have to imagine our graduation rate is higher than it was 10 years ago. Not great, but at least above 50%.

That tells me all I need to know about the academic standards for their basketball players....there are none if you are good enough.
