Time will tell, but Alexei looks good so far.

EvilMonkey
I've only managed to catch a few games this sprint, but the few at bats of his I saw, i liked. He sure didn't miss any fastball in the games I saw, but they didn't throw him much offspeed stuff. I am sure that will change until he shows he can hit it, at least a little. Maybe he needs to appease Jobu, then bats no afraid of curveball.
The Ginger Kid
he's a bit raw, especially for his age. Hopefully some time in Charlotte with smooth things out. Kind of an old dog to learn new tricks, but he's got skills, that's for sure.
BearSox
I'd say he's already better then Uribe.

knightni
I'd be perfectly happy with Fields at 3rd, Ramirez at 2b, Bourgeois and Ozuna as backups.

While I know this post is mainly sarcasm from the BS Hawk and Walker were talking about on Sunday about Uribe, I'd say Ramirez can put on a much better show during BP. kjshoe04
QUOTE(BearSox @ Mar 18, 2008 -> 10:06 PM) While I know this post is mainly sarcasm from the BS Hawk and Walker were talking about on Sunday about Uribe, I'd say Ramirez can put on a much better show during BP. Didn't even hear Hawk and Walker talking about it. I went to a game in Toronto last year and Uribe was hitting almost every ball into the upper deck during batting practice. A couple Blue Jays fans asked us who that was. I guess I shouldve have expected him to crush batting practice with the cuts he takes in games.
