Jim Spencer
Could Pods really be Back? He's batting .370 and has 6 stolen bases this Spring. Well even if he's back, he'll probably pull a muscle as soon as the season starts and he has to play in cold weather. Go Sox
Balta1701
Masset on the mound, already given up 1 run in the first, somehow relating to a walk and a passed ball by Hall. Ramirez, CF OC, SS Thome, DH Konerko, 1B Swisher, LF Fields, 3b Anderson, RF Ozuna, 2b Hall, C. Can read a lot of interesting stuff into that lineup if you want. He really reminds me of Soriano physically. I hope if he can be a similar player the Sox are smart enough not to bat him leadoff

At his age, and recent history, the key thing is keeping him healthy. Having Swisher DH against LHP can give him a few extra days off
daa84
what an AB by anderson in 06 anderson would have looked at strike 1, swing and missed at strike 2, and then waved at a ball in the dirt Edited March 19, 2008 by daa84

Flash Tizzle
Masset sure delivered a fat fastball right there. 4-2 Colorado. This is pure Nick Masset today. Crap control, a few groundballs, runs crossing the plate. Edited March 19, 2008 by Flash Tizzle
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE(GoSox05 @ Mar 19, 2008 -> 02:29 PM) How far did he hit it? Maybe 5 feet over the LF wall. Not all that far, but from the replay, it looked like a pop-up.
