Anybody know if they're being released yet? Gotta have that thing. Hey man, Google Topps Baseball cards and see if there's any information there---I'm not sure when the companies are releasing their cards but I know they will include many people who are new to the organizations in their set. It may not be the most valued of the rookie cards, though. Edited March 22, 2008 by The Beast
DaTank
QUOTE(The Beast @ Mar 21, 2008 -> 10:40 PM) Hey man, Google Topps Baseball cards and see if there's any information there---I'm not sure when the companies are releasing their cards but I know they will include many people who are new to the organizations in their set. It may not be the most valued of the rookie cards, though. Thanks, I tried to Google it already, and nothing. Topps and Upper Deck Series 1 cards came out at the beginning of February. I bought a box of 2008 Topps Series 1 already, and no Alexei card. Got some great ones though. Out of rookie cards in that box I got 2 Clay Buchholz, 2 Joey Votto, a J.R. Towles, a Chin Lung-Hu, a Sam Fuld, a Emilio Bonifacio, a Jeff Clement, a Wladimir Balentien, and a ton more. About 25-30 RC's in that box alone. Thanks for your help though. And yeah, it may not be very valuable and probably won't ever go for anything over $7, but I like Alexei. P.S. The 2 messups in the box I got were a Ervin Santana with Johan Santana signature on it and an Orlando Cabrera (in Angels uniform) with Luis Cabreras signature on it. I read somewhere that Johan is Ervin Santana's birth name and the name that he signed his contract with. And he apparently changed it because of the Johan Santana we all know and love.
