LowerCaseRepublican
Heads, where are you at with the b-day PBP?
clujer420
Not nearly as bad as somebody a few days ago picking Paul Konerko. I mean, the chances of predicting someone to hit for the cycle is pretty impossible as it is. But if you're going to get a shot at a million bucks, AT LEAST give yourself a snowball's chance in hell. Pick Roberto...or Jose...or hell, even Magglio.

clujer420
Doh, Alomar CS. But, he gets a big 2 out, bases loaded single to get the Sox on the board. End of 1 and a half, Sox lead it 2-0.

T R U
I would hate for my hometown team to be the Devil Rays... They are NEVER going to be good EVER... I just dont see it happening, no one wants to play there and they wont pay big bucks for people.. things will be ugly in TB for a long time

The same happens if the pitcher strikes you out by throwing a pitch on the black or if you get a hit on a good pitcher's pitch. You can't win 'em all. Sometimes, you just get beat by someone playing better.
Jim Fainter
Didn't they try to get the Sox to move there 10-15 years ago?

They have a very, very good manager in Lou Piniella. I'm sure you could have said the same thing about the Mariners in the early 90s. Now their one of the best teams in the league year in and year out. Sweet Lou put Seattle on the map, and Sweet Lou will also put Tampa Bay on the map.
