Crede is clearly not the same player, watch a little ST and you'll see a s***ty baseball player. Crede will struggle to hit .250, 20 HRs and 60 RBIs this year. Fields meanwhile would hit all those numbers probably and walk more. Crede's injured back has hurt him badly. Fields is the player that gives the team a better chance to win. I would bet that Hahn has already done that and has been rebuked. My guess is the Sox will continue to shop Crede...someone will need a 3B by the deadline. And then the Fields era will begin.
