KipWellsFan
W/O looking I bet Cheney is the big donor, and Obama is the chincy donor. EDIT: Yup, but I had already heard about the Obama thing today, and remember the stories about Cheney from the past. GoSox05
That must be why Dick Cheney is so liked in America.
HuskyCaucasian
should note that Obama gave 6% in 05 and 06 which is double the national average.
BigSqwert
Well I guess the only criteria we should use to vote is who donated more money. Rezko and Hsu should run for office!
Balta1701
If I'm reading these correctly...even counting Dick Cheney giving 75% of his earnings to charities...Dick Cheney took home $1.95 million before taxes in 2005. The Obama family took home 60% of that total value in the 5 year period from 2000-2004. If this isn't a great argument for progressive taxation, I don't know what is. I wonder how long it took for them to pay off their Ivy League student loans?
