Well, duh! It just infuriates me so much to think that we can up most of our farm system this offseason, spent a lot of money on relievers, sent down Fields for Crede....and we're still a bad team.

With 2/3 of the line up back, the big changes are fantasy. Where is the revitalized BA, Fields, Q, etc ... But Fathom, you and I could b**** about that forever. Same team, different year.

So here's a question that hopefully we won't have to deal with, but could be a possible situation: what if the Sox struggle this year, and have the chance to trade O. Cabrera at the deadline.... Do they do that instead of hold out for the arbitration draft picks?

People from Cleveland just wish they could get the hell out of Cleveland, and are jealous Thome did.

That's really the only reasoning I have.

I don't know how you could boo such a great person and player.

I was reading earlier today that Cleveland has one of the worst housing and job markets in the country.

They boo him because he followed the money. Whatever. When he gets finished counting his money at night, I'm sure he sleeps just fine.

Do you think that top to bottom, we have the slowest lineup in the majors?

This lineup would give the Red Sox's lineup a run for their money. Ellsbury and Lugo are faster than anyone we have....so yes.

Depends whether or not the players that they get are as good as the picks that they'd get would be.

I'd say no.

Only if some team offers something more valuable than 2 arbitration picks. None of this Willy Mo Pena + a reliever (aka...a hard throwing reliever) garbage like the Bosox tried to give us for JD last year.

It's brutal. Twins fans cheered Hunter.

They're just smart enough to realize that he got 18 mil per year and would be insane to not take it and leave MN.

I have trouble finding any team with 4 slower players than Thome, Dye, AJ, and Konerko.

hafner martinez garko and blake? thats pretty close....
