Chi Town Sox
I was thinking about purchasing it today so I can listen to day games at work - is it worth it to purchase?
jackie hayes
Well...do you want the radio feed? That's really all it is. Sounds fine on any reasonably fast connection. The one thing you'll want to check is that you can get it. Some workplaces might block it.
Chi Town Sox
Cool thanks, that's all I really wanted to know. I wanted to make sure it wasn't like MLB.tv cutting out here and there like I have heard.
Chi Town Sox
I downloaded this, Do you have to wait until gametime for the audio to show up? I click on listen to WSCR and nothing shows up?
SoxFan1
I bought it for the 1st time ever for this season, and for $15, I really can't complain with having the option of listening to every single major league game all year. Its worth every penny to me living here in Michigan now and only getting games that are on National TV or WGN.
Balta1701
I was considering not getting it this season because of how bad the team was last year and I wasn't sure how often I'd use it. Then the team hired Steve Stone. Sold!
Balta1701
QUOTE(Chi Town Sox @ Apr 4, 2008 -> 09:41 AM) I downloaded this, Do you have to wait until gametime for the audio to show up? I click on listen to WSCR and nothing shows up? They won't turn it on until pretty close to gametime for each feed. It should be working right now though. Chi Town Sox
meh, still doesn't work - I wonder if its just from being at work. damnit
jackie hayes
If it's blocked where you work, you may be able to get a refund from MLB. For mlbtv, they offer a rebate within 5 days of billing (or something like that), so I'd expect the same thing with Gd audio.
