whitesoxfan101
Two indicators of a good team: Great pitching and scoring runs late in the game. We're doing both almost everyday right now. It's fun to watch.
southsider2k5
How big has baserunning been during this streak? Going back to before the streak started, when Juan Uribe cleaned out the shortstop to break up a double play. Since then how many different guys have we seen busting their asses to get extra bases (CQ, Swish, Anderson) and putting pressure on the pitchers that led to extra runs. I know people have mentioned Anderson last night, but they don't score those runs without him tagging.

RME JICO
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 27, 2008 -> 08:50 AM) chicken/egg. Linebrink pitches with a lead almost always, occasionally in a tie situation. The last 3 games he came in with a tie score, so I wouldn't say occasionally. He also has 12 Holds and 2 wins which means the games were close when he entered on numerous occasions. I'm just saying, you could look at the closer and primary set-up men on most teams and see very similar results. Its the nature of their roles.
