Heads22
I think we'll see Ely in BHam before the year is over.

BearSox
Ely is just being used as a starter to get stretched out, right? I see Matt Long made an appearance today and got the save as well.
maggsmaggs
QUOTE (BearSox @ Apr 9, 2008 -> 03:39 PM) Ely is just being used as a starter to get stretched out, right? I see Matt Long made an appearance today and got the save as well. Ely is gonna be starter, he got real good stuff, so he is a starter because that is his future role. Ely's the type of pitcher you'd see on the Twins. 90-91 mph fastball, solid command, 3-4 pitches.
