fathom
Terrible by Piniella. Why take out your best overall player in Lee just to get Blanco to bat instead of the pitcher? Also, I can't believe they threw a fastball to Bay with 2 strikes. Wuertz has a great slider, and Bay's been known to chase that particular pitch. Oh well....nice end to an annoying baseball day. whitesoxfan101
For all the love the Cubs get, they are AWFUL on the road. Classic team built for their home park, because their offense takes naps on the road for large portions of the game. Soriano is quite the fielder btw. fathom
This Dodgers team is pretty crappy without Loney and Furcal in the lineup. Also, the Cubs face a bad Rockies team this coming weekend with Holliday, Hawpe, and Barmes. Plenty of time for Pods to shine!

Also, the Cubs face a bad Rockies team this coming weekend with Holliday, Hawpe, and Barmes. Plenty of time for Pods to shine! at least the dodgers are respectable....which is sad to think, they are the best team the cubs have played in a long time...but you are right they are much better with furcal and loney
fathom
QUOTE (Brian @ May 26, 2008 -> 07:30 PM) Torre not adapting to NL managing? Why wasn't Billingsley bunting? You didn't like Billingsley chase a pitch 3 feet off the plate? Dodgers have had a few chances to dent the scoreboard, and only have one on a cheap hit by Pierre.
