Nokona
QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 05:21 PM) Imploded and kicked a cooler. Part of me thinks he acts a certain way to keep the attention on him. Did more than just kick it, threw it around got tired of that one and went and got the other cooler and slammed that one on the ground a few times. can only blame the defense so much until you give up a 415 ft home run

whitesoxbrian
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 7, 2008 -> 03:57 PM) I can't wait for the day that Zambrano suffers a season-ending injury due to his stupid antics. That line drive off the bat of Ethier has "broken eye socket" written all over it, except that emotional douche caught it.

Great prediction....ugh!
Jordan4life_2007
I've come to the conclusion that the Cubs will finish with a home record of 73-8. They've got some kinda magic going in that toilet bowl this year.

They've got some kinda magic going in that toilet bowl this year. How many lineouts can the Braves have in one game? I also can't believe the Braves signed Glavine. Did they really think he had anything left in the tank?

Neither....I haven't been impressed by Glavine in years, to be honest. And what do you know, another liner by the Braves.
Gregory Pratt
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 10, 2008 -> 08:54 PM) How many lineouts can the Braves have in one game? I also can't believe the Braves signed Glavine. Did they really think he had anything left in the tank? I know you're upset because Glavine committed the grave crime of giving up runs to the Cubs, but Glavine quite clearly has something left in the tank. He's had some pretty good starts with a few bad ones. It happens.
fathom
QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Jun 11, 2008 -> 03:00 AM) I know you're upset because Glavine committed the grave crime of giving up runs to the Cubs, but Glavine quite clearly has something left in the tank. He's had some pretty good starts with a few bad ones. It happens. He's averaging less than 5 innings a start now and his WHIP is in the 1.55 range. I think the Braves at least signed him for a good contract.

fathom
Really bad managing by Piniella in letting Howry stay in to face the lefty McCann. Eyre definitely should have been in. Braves need one more hit to tie this up.

Cardinals just being decimated with injuries, especially with their ace out now also. BBTN reported it was probably just re-strained the calf that gave him some problems earlier this season, but no word on to how long he could be out.
