Awesome.

For once, there's a reason to see the Cubs struggle. I bet Lou will have some hesitation going to the 'pen tomorrow.

In a way, Marmol reminds me of a young Octavio Dotel.

Sometimes just bad, other times, too good.

Upton with a triple, it's not over.

I am gonna say that Marmol's ERA without looking would be the second worst in our bullpen now after Russell. Not saying I wouldn't love to have his arm, but just funny.

Marmol is as about as good as Octavio Dotel now.

7-3 Rays. :D.

He won't.

To Eyre is human?

I'm listening to this on WGN Radio, I don't think Ron Santo is there because I'm not hearing "oh noooo"s.

8-3, this game is OVA.

Scott Eyre is teyreible.

That Cubs bullpen looks real bad right now.

This is great, the perfect demoralizer before the cross-town series. I'm all smiles.

CARL CRAWFORD :headbang :cheers

BTW, Joe Morgan, I heard today, said that Marmol is the best reliever in baseball. I firmly disagree- I'd take Rivera to get an out over any reliever EVER.

nathan, K-rod, etc etc.

I picked the Rays feed instead, to get my Dave Wills fix.

The Rays announcers said that the GS by Carl was only the 2nd swing of the inning. I'm loving these Rays right now!

I was planning on driving over with the family for the game, but couldn't swing the day off. I'm pizzed, I'd love to be there to see all the teary-eyed Cub fans. :lolhitting

Really? I watched the game and I never picked up on it only being the 2nd swing of the inning, even when 5 guys reached before him.

They get Danks, Contreras, and Vazquez, correct?

Im just saying what they say on their board. They dont think the cubs will have a problem scoring double digits on our staff. Especially at home.

Yep, I just checked gameday pitch by pitch to make sure. Navarro was the only other person to swing and that was pitch 1 of his at bat.

Lou's overuse of Marmol and Zambrano bites him in the ass all in one mid-June series. Lou is generally a very good manager, but his refusal to lose a couple battles to win the war (overusing several pitchers) is going to hurt them in the long run, and that process has already started. Nice to see them look that bad coming into a series with us, and the Rays are awfully good.
