Greg The Bull Luzinski
I'd say the 2007 softball team is back. ...although they never really left.

fathom
QUOTE (Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 12, 2008 -> 03:06 AM) I'd say the 2007 softball team is back. ...although they never really left. Well, we are benching 2 of our 4 best hitters right now. Swisher should have been playing, if healthy.
almagest
Not sure why Dye was swinging 2-0 when Grilli had walked Konerko on 5 pitches and technically walked Thome. Bad decision there.
RME JICO
Why even swing at 2-0 when the only thing Grilli is hitting is Quentin?
southsideirish71
QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 11, 2008 -> 08:05 PM) Grilli is such a pile of s***, and here we are, 3 hits total. Take Swisher and AJ out of the lineup, and the corpseball kids are back. I hope they can play just about every game.
Guest
Thome-Konerko-Dye are leaving a lot to be desired right now. Dye should have been more patient. you have a 2-0 count against an absolute SUCK pitcher...worse than contreras and you swing at the 1st strike...that's just being impatient right there. fathom
Huge inning here for Contreras, as little seems to be going right since Willis got hurt. Get us back in the dugout down 1 Jose!

Greg The Bull Luzinski
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 11, 2008 -> 08:07 PM) Well our 3-4-5 hitting like its 07. That's their general approach to hitting. We should not be surprised, it is not going to change. He can only wait and hope they get really hot at some point, or 2008 is another famine year. You hear Hawk say how great last year's offense was on paper? He must get a different version than I do in regards to Erstad/Pods/Uribe
fathom
Honestly, Contreras has pitched very well outside of that 3rd inning. Our offense owes it to him to not make him the losing pitcher.

He must get a different version than I do in regards to Erstad/Pods/Uribe Hawk is an idiot. I've had my tv on mute for half this game I'm so tired of listening to those 2. Heads22
How sad is it that the Tigers have only one SB attempt against friggin' Contreras/Hall? I think Hawk might be able to take second on that combo.

Thome and Konerko have. I have no problem with Dye. He's started out pretty well. Paulie's the one I'm growing tired of pretty quick in terms of his plate production.
